ok i kinda got uninspired and gave up on july early but i am sooo back this month guys i swear

STORYTIME. i knew i was only gonna be in chicago for exactly 18 days this summer so i knew i had to make the most of it. the only show i could find that i cared about and was able 2 make it to was a nabihah iqbal dj set at this teeny little diy venue in pilsen. i didn't try very hard to convince anyone to go with me because quite frankly i couldnt be bothered. so i went by myself! i haven't been to a show by myself in years. like probably not since i was 16. but i wasn't scared! and tbh guys i had the time of my life. i honestly think i would've had a worse time if i brought anyone with me. i feel like this makes sense with nabihah's vibe. so deeply enjoying my own company, u know? idrk how to explain this further. anyways it was really hard for me to pick just one song but this one feels like it accurately encapsulates the vibe of that night. or maybe i should've picked gentle heart. this huge gleaming city is all hers to keep! feeling deeply apprciative of this beautiful city i call home
